Creating Diamonds offers free tutoring in language arts and math for students in grades K-12.

Creating Diamonds’ high-quality, research-based CRCT Language Arts and Math coach 1-12 programs show progress for low achieving, limited English proficient and students with disabilities. According to GPS standards, CRCT Coach Language Arts and Math programs are clearly aligned to the GPS / National Standards, and continuous use leads to better study habits, higher self esteem, increased school attendance and greater retention / promotion rate. Students will demonstrate understanding and control for the rules of the English Language, realizing that usage involves the appropriate application of conventions and grammar in both written and spoken formats.

Through the use of Math Coach, students will build new mathematical knowledge through problem solving, develop and evaluate mathematical arguments and proof. Students will be taught how to communicate their mathematical thinking coherently and clearly to peers, teachers and others. They will learn strategies that will help them choose wisely and avoid common mistakes while preparing them to pass the CRCT, EOCT, GHSGT, SAT and ACT.
