Program
PFCIS is an approved Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) provider under the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Additive Diseases (DMHDDAD) of the Department of Human Resources. We are seeking accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our goal is to empower children and adolescents to be successful in all settings; including family, school, peer groups and community.
PFCIS is committed to helping youth learn to:

- Enhance coping skills
- Manage stressful situations
- Make good choices in difficult situations
Team Approach
The PFCIS (IFI) team and the customer collaborate to ensure that the goal-oriented treatment is successful. We offer.- Crisis Intervention
- Family Counseling
- Intensive Child Support Services
- Parent Support Services
Admission Criteria
- Youth has a diagnosis with SED and/or is diagnosed with a substance related disorder; and one or more of the following:
- Received services through other services modalities and needs additional or different supports/structure
- Youth is at immediate risk of out-of-home placement or is currently in out-of-home placement and reunification is imminent
- Youth is at immediate risk of legal system intervention or is currently involved with DJJ
